My name is Jess Wagner. I am from south central Wisconsin and was raised on hobby farms throughout my life. While growing up, my dad sparked my love for the outdoors while taking my brother and I with him on numerous hunting, fishing, and camping trips. The farm ignited my love for agriculture so much that I decided to make it a career. I received my Bachelor degree from University of Wisconsin – Platteville in Animal Science in 2015. I have worked on a handful of dairy farms, had a volunteer internship in California on the Wild Horse Sanctuary, worked in a feed mill, and Deer Creek Seed.
Volunteer work, conservation, and helping involve more women and children in the outdoors and agriculture are all very important to me. Currently I am a partnered with DSG Fish, ReelCamo Girl, the Go Wild App, Reel Midwest Fishing, Empower Outdoors, Grandma Skills, and am the President of the South Central Wisconsin Women’s Pheasants Forever Chapter. I encourage you to check out all of the previously listed organizations if you are interested or want to learn more.
If there is one thing to remember about me, please have it be this: I will never claim to be an expert at anything. I still am learning about every aspect in life and wish more people had this attitude and outlook.
